The Knox, a luxury hotel and residential development in Dallas’s Knox Street neighborhood, has opened reservations for stays beginning January 29, 2027. The hotel, located adjacent to the 3.5-mile Katy Trail recreational corridor, features 140 guest rooms and suites plus 48 private residences. The project is a partnership involving BDT & MSD Partners, Trammell Crow Company, Owners of Highland Park Village and The Retail Connection, serving as the hospitality anchor for a broader commercial and residential redevelopment on Knox Street.

Design and Accommodation Features

The hotel’s public interiors and guest rooms were designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, while Chad Dorsey Design created the

interiors of the private residences. Suites include separate living and dining areas, with the largest suite, The Manse, featuring a private fitness space, wellness room, bar and media room. Another highlight, The Promenade Suite, offers a 2,100-square-foot terrace equipped with private dining and lounge spaces. Extended stay options include two- and three-bedroom apartments named Abbott House, Hester House and Hyland House.

Official Statements on Vision and Community Integration

Rick Fidel, regional vice president and general manager of The Knox, said, “We are delighted to begin welcoming guests to The Knox, Auberge Collection and introduce a new expression of luxury hospitality to Dallas.” He emphasized the hotel as

a gathering place combining dining, well-being, design and hospitality. Christian Clerc, president and CEO of Auberge Collection, described The Knox as an exciting growth chapter for the brand, celebrating Dallas’s character with a personal experience. Sabrina Gleizer of BDT & MSD Partners stated, “From the beginning, our vision for The Knox was to create a place that feels distinctly Dallas and becomes a meaningful part of the Knox Street neighborhood.”

Guest Amenities and Location Advantages

The Knox offers four dining venues, including a signature American restaurant, an indoor-outdoor salon, a cocktail lounge and poolside dining with views of the Dallas skyline. The hotel also features

a Well-being by Auberge facility with skin therapies, thermal baths, and recovery treatments. Event spaces include the Colonnade Room ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows and a wrap-around terrace, alongside additional meeting rooms and private dining spaces. Guests have direct access to the Katy Trail, providing options for walking and biking.

Market Context and Development Partnership

The Knox’s opening aligns with Auberge Collection’s strategic expansion into major metropolitan markets, marking its entry into the Dallas hospitality sector. The development is part of a wider effort to redevelop the Knox Street area commercially and residentially. The partnership behind the project includes notable firms such as BDT & MSD

Partners, Trammell Crow Company, Owners of Highland Park Village and The Retail Connection, combining expertise in real estate and hospitality.
