Its delegation featured companies such as Aitken Spence Travels, Blackpool Resort & Spa, Ceylon Experiences, Cinnamon Hotel Management, Esna Holidays Sri Lanka, Radisson Blu Galadari Colombo, Serene Travels & Tours,

World of Travel, SriLankan Airlines, and Walkers Tours. This pavilion promoted Sri Lanka as a destination for international conferences, corporate meetings, and incentive travel programs.

Participating companies included Jetwing Travels, Siddhalepa Ayurveda Health Resort, Chamo Tours and Travels, Pegasus Reef Hotel, Karusan Travels, Magical Isle Holidays, and Sen Wellness Sanctuary. The pavilions were officially inaugurated by Senarath Dissanayake, Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to Singapore. Dheera Hettiarachchi, Chairman of

the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau, led the MICE delegation accompanied by Marketing Manager Malkanthi Welikala. The Tourism Promotion Bureau delegation was led by Assistant Director Nithini Senanayake. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe Emphasizes Foreign Investment

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe stated at the Youth Parliament in Maharagama that Sri Lanka requires foreign investments for national development. He reassured that there are no intentions to “sell the country” and stressed, “No one will remove this country and take it away.” He urged the country to invite leading investors to bring

capital into Sri Lanka, highlighting the benefits to the nation and its people.

The combined pavilion presence at ITB Asia 2026 showcased Sri Lanka’s dual focus on business events and leisure travel sectors, with a dedicated emphasis on wellness tourism. This strategy enabled Sri Lankan operators to engage potential partners in Singapore and the wider Asia-Pacific region, expanding the country’s visibility as a prime travel destination.
