
The Sri Lanka Convention Bureau recently completed a series of roadshows focusing on meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) in several major Indian cities, including Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and Chennai. These events provided a platform to present Sri Lanka’s offerings as an attractive destination for business tourism to the Indian market.
Promoting Sri Lanka for Business Tourism
The primary goal of these roadshows was to highlight Sri Lanka’s tourism potential and to foster stronger collaboration in the business tourism sector between Sri Lanka and India. By targeting important commercial hubs, the initiative aimed to encourage more conventions, meetings, and incentive travel involving Sri Lanka.
