Southwest Airlines will start three new seasonal routes from Nashville International Airport (BNA) in summer 2027, connecting the Tennessee hub to Boise, Idaho; Nassau, Bahamas; and Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. The airline made the announcement on October 2, 2026, but did not disclose exact start dates or flight frequencies.

Southwest’s Nashville Expansion

Southwest Airlines has expanded its presence at Nashville since opening a crew base there in 2024. The carrier is currently building a new lounge at Nashville International Airport. It will also resume seasonal service on routes from Nashville to Bozeman, Montana, and Portland, Oregon, adding to its existing network of domestic

and Caribbean destinations from the airport.

On the same day as the Nashville announcement, Southwest revealed plans to add seven new domestic and international routes from its Austin, Texas base, furthering its network growth in key U.S. markets.
