Southwest Airlines Launches New Seasonal Routes From Nashville in 2027

Southwest Airlines Adds New Routes from Nashville in October 2026

Southwest Airlines will introduce three new seasonal routes from Nashville International Airport beginning summer 2027. The airline will connect Nashville, Tennessee, nonstop to Boise, Idaho; Nassau, Bahamas; and Providenciales in Turks and Caicos.

Southwest maintains a strong operational presence at Nashville International Airport, offering flights across the U.S., Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. The carrier established a crew base at Nashville in 2024 and is currently constructing a new airport lounge at the facility.

Route Resumptions and Austin Expansion

In addition to the new seasonal destinations, Southwest plans to resume its seasonal service between Nashville and Bozeman, Montana, and Portland, Oregon. On the same

day Southwest announced these Nashville expansions, the airline also revealed it will add seven new domestic and international routes from Austin, Texas.

Passenger Options and Schedule Details

Passengers traveling from Nashville will gain three new nonstop seasonal flight options starting in the summer of 2027. Specific start dates and flight frequencies for these new routes have not been disclosed. Seasonally resumed services to Bozeman and Portland will further increase Southwest’s Nashville offerings.
