
Southwest Airlines announced on October 5, 2026, it will add three new seasonal routes from Nashville International Airport to Boise, Idaho; Nassau, Bahamas; and Providenciales, Turks and Caicos starting in summer 2027. Specific start dates and flight frequencies have not been released.
Southwest maintains a large operational presence at Nashville, supporting flights to destinations across the U.S., Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. The carrier established a crew base at Nashville in 2024 and is building a new airport lounge at the facility, signaling ongoing investment in the market.
Expansion of Seasonal Services and Network Growth
Alongside the new routes, Southwest will resume seasonal service between Nashville
and Bozeman, Montana, as well as Portland, Oregon. On the same day, the airline announced an expansion in Austin, Texas, with seven additional domestic and international routes, underscoring its simultaneous network growth at multiple hubs.
New Nonstop Options for Nashville Travelers
These new seasonal nonstop routes will provide Nashville-area travelers with increased access to destinations including Boise, Nassau, and Providenciales. The restored seasonal flights to Bozeman and Portland also enhance travel options from Nashville starting summer 2027.
