The Singapore Snow Expo took place on August 15 and 16, 2026, at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre, marking its return after a nine-year hiatus that began after its 2017 edition.
About 20 exhibitors participated in the expo, showcasing ski resorts from Japan’s Hakuba Valley and outdoor lifestyle brands including Snow Monkey. The event targeted winter travel enthusiasts and featured related gear and apparel.
Visitors could engage in three special zones: the Simulator zone offered lessons in skiing and snowboarding balance and control; the Kids Snow Discovery zone provided education on winter environments for families; and the Winter
Travel Pavilion presented itineraries and packages from resorts and tourism partners focused on destinations such as Japan, China, South Korea, and Europe.
The expo offered event-exclusive deals on winter apparel, equipment, and travel packages. A notable giveaway included a three-night stay for two people at the newly built Moxy Niseko Village hotel, combined with two days of free ski or snowboard rental.
Emeline Tan, event organiser and founder of SportQuest & Travel, attributed the expo’s return delay to Covid-19 restrictions that halted international travel and the snow industry. She also noted that interest in skiing and snowboarding has risen significantly
since the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics and Singapore’s debut alpine skier, Faiz Basha, which has encouraged Singaporeans to pursue these sports seriously.
The Singapore Snow Expo operated alongside Outdoor Fair 2026, Singapore’s largest outdoor and sports lifestyle event. More than 80 international brands participated, including travel agencies offering expeditions to destinations such as Bhutan, China, and Japan. Organisers anticipated over 20,000 visitors during the two-day event.
Both fairs were free to attend, with access granted through online registration.
