United Airlines waived trip change fees and fare differences for eligible customers rebooking flights departing by July 23, 2026, with travel permitted on flights booked between the same cities and cabin classes. American Airlines notified affected customers through email and its
mobile app, requiring rebooking by Wednesday, July 24, 2026, with new travel completed by Friday, July 25, 2026.
