Norwegian Cruise Line’s ship Norwegian Viva has canceled multiple scheduled sailings originally set to depart from San Juan, Puerto Rico. These cancellations prompt notable adjustments to the vessel’s Caribbean cruise offerings.
Following the cancellation of these San Juan departures, Norwegian Viva has been redeployed to operate from Miami port. From this new homeport, the ship will offer alternative Caribbean itineraries designed to maintain guest access to the region’s popular destinations.
This shift in operations results in an impact on cruise calls to key Caribbean ports including Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. Calls to these locations are being restructured to align
with the ship’s revised sailing schedules.
For travelers who had booked cruises departing from San Juan on Norwegian Viva, these itinerary changes mean they will need to adjust travel plans accordingly. Instead of sailing from Puerto Rico, passengers will find revised options launching from Miami, providing alternative routes within the Caribbean.
