On July 3, 2026, a multi-union labor strike is actively disrupting airport operations across Italy, significantly impacting air travel nationwide. This industrial action has led to widespread interruptions throughout the day at some of the country’s busiest airports.

More than 2,000 flights have experienced cancellations or delays as a direct consequence of the strike. Among the airports most affected are Rome’s main international airport and Venice’s airport, where thousands of passengers have been affected by the service interruptions.
