A majority of Michigan residents are preparing to undertake travel plans for the summer of 2026, according to data revealed by a recent AAA survey. This signal of strong travel intentions arrives even as travel-related costs continue to rise.
Despite the upward pressure on expenses associated with travel, demand among Michiganders appears to be holding steady during this period. The findings suggest that while travel costs have increased, they have not significantly deterred residents of Michigan from planning summer trips.
