Marjan Hospitality announced in early October 2026 a refurbishment programme covering more than 600 rooms across Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah and Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.

Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah Room Refurbishment

The entire main building at Rixos Al Mairid is undergoing a full room refurbishment. The property is scheduled to reopen in December 2026, reflecting Marjan Hospitality’s aim to elevate its premium market positioning through this upgrade.

Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island Overhaul and Adults-Only Transition

Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island is refurbishing all 300 rooms with a reopening planned for the second quarter of 2027. After refurbishment, the resort will convert to an adults-only

property, shifting the guest experience focus accordingly.

Design Inspiration and Industry Context

The Pullman Resort is adopting a new design concept called “Ocean Dusk & Dawn,” inspired by the Arabian Sea and the landscape of Al Marjan Island. This refurbishment aligns with the broader hospitality momentum in Ras Al Khaimah, which includes luxury developments like Wynn Al Marjan Island.

Marjan Hospitality’s Strategic Investments

These refurbishments support Marjan Hospitality’s commitment to evolving Ras Al Khaimah’s hospitality offering, meeting the expectations of tourists and residents. The group also recently introduced 35 standalone private villas at The Ritz-Carlton Residences Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert.

Official Statement from Marjan Hospitality

Alison Grinnell, Group COO of Marjan and

CEO of Marjan Hospitality, stated: “As Ras Al Khaimah’s hospitality offering continue to evolve, we want our established properties to evolve alongside it. Our aim is to ensure each property has a clear identity, meets the expectations of today’s guests and contributes to the overall quality of the destination. With new developments raising the bar across the emirate, it is an exciting time to continue investing in what we already have while creating something stronger for future generations.”

Traveler Impact During Renovations

Temporary disruptions are expected during renovation periods at both resorts. Upon completion, guests will experience enhanced facilities, elevated furnishings, and refreshed design

atmospheres.
