The 16th edition of the Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE) is scheduled from October 6 to 8, 2026, at Uhuru Gardens National Monument and Museum in Nairobi, Kenya. This East African tourism trade fair connects local and international travel and tourism stakeholders. The event’s theme, “Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence: Shaping the Future of Tourism,” focuses on technology-driven changes in destination management, exploration, and booking.

Akwaaba African Travel Market will participate again as a prominent exhibitor at MKTE 2026, following its inaugural presence in 2025. Based in Lagos, Nigeria, Akwaaba promotes intra-African travel by linking African tour operators, hospitality providers,
