Severe thunderstorms recently led to the cancellation of more than 110 flights at LaGuardia Airport in New York. The intense weather conditions have resulted in significant disruptions at the airport, affecting numerous passengers and flight schedules.

Several major airlines, including United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue Airways, Endeavor Air, Republic Airways, Mesa Airlines, Jazz Aviation, Frontier Airlines, and Southwest Airlines, have been impacted. Alongside LaGuardia, widespread delays and cancellations have also taken place across flights in the United States and Canada, with a reported 211 flights delayed during this period.

Flight Disruptions and Passenger Advisory

Due to the ongoing disruptions caused by the

thunderstorms, travelers using LaGuardia Airport are advised to verify their flight status before arriving at the airport. The operational challenges imposed by the severe weather have made flight schedules unpredictable for many routes.

Passengers should monitor updates from their airlines and the airport to manage potential cancellations or delays efficiently.
