KOMPOZYT-EXPO 2026, the 15th International Trade Fair for Composite Materials, Products and Production Technology, is scheduled for October 7 and 8 at EXPO Kraków in Poland. The event is organized by Targi w Krakowie and targets manufacturers, engineers, researchers, and corporate delegates from European aerospace, automotive, wind energy, construction, rail, marine, and defense industries.
Preliminary estimates indicate about 100 exhibitors will participate, compared with 84 in the 2024 edition that attracted 2,518 professional visitors. The 2026 fair expects attendance between 2,000 and 3,000. Commercial exhibitors such as Airtech Europe, Compo Tech, Diab, KRAHN CHEMIE Polska, Prec-Odlew, SoftPlast, and VIK-COMPOSITE GmbH
will present alongside research institutions including the Łukasiewicz – Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, and Warsaw University of Technology.
EXPO Kraków, the event venue, is located at ul. Galicyjska 9 in Kraków’s Czyżyny district. Kraków John Paul II International Airport (KRK), situated 11 kilometers west of the city center, serves as the primary air entry point for international delegates. The Koleje Małopolskie SKA1 rail line connects the airport to Kraków Główny central railway station in 17 minutes, operating trains every 30 minutes with contactless payment facilities.
To reach EXPO Kraków from Kraków Główny
or the historic Old Town, visitors can use public transit operated by KMK Kraków, including tram lines 1, 14 and 22, as well as bus lines 174 and 178, which stop near the venue. Registration for professional attendees is available online through Targi w Krakowie, allowing digital badge access to expedite entry.
Due to high business travel demand in October, accommodations near Kraków Główny railway station, the Kazimierz district, or Aleja Pokoju are recommended to be booked well in advance. These areas provide convenient access to EXPO Kraków and Kraków’s central business and cultural hubs.
October’s climate in Kraków typically
ranges from 5°C to 15°C, a factor for attendees to consider when planning outdoor activities or travel logistics. The city’s industrial trade fairs contribute significantly to the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) sector, supporting local hotels, dining, transport, and rail operations during peak periods.
