
Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Indonesia’s busiest aviation hub, experienced a notable volume of flight cancellations and delays on June 9, 2026. Reports indicated that a total of 15 flights were canceled while 46 others were delayed on that day, affecting both domestic and international services.
Batik Air emerged as the airline most impacted by operational setbacks during the disruptions at the airport. In addition to Batik Air, several international carriers including Malaysia Airlines, Scoot, EVA Air, XiamenAir, and Shandong Airlines reported interruptions to their scheduled routes through the airport.
Passengers traveling through Jakarta faced disruptions across multiple routes, which resulted
in operational challenges for the affected airlines and inconvenience for travelers. The exact factors leading to these cancellations and delays have not been disclosed.
