
ITB India 2026 commenced on September 1 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The three-day event is the fourth in-person edition and expects to draw more than 3,000 travel industry professionals through September 3.
Over 400 qualified buyers are attending alongside more than 100 exhibiting brands. The event brings together leading players to facilitate business exchange and networking within the global travel sector.
Exhibitors represent sectors including Leisure, Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE), Corporate Travel, and Travel Technology. Participants come from regions such as Southeast Asia, South Asia, Europe, Africa, Northeast Asia, and South America.

Executive Director of Messe Berlin Asia Pacific, commented, “India and South Asia continue to offer significant opportunities for the global travel industry, and the international participation at ITB India this year reflects the strong interest we continue to see in these markets.” He added that the event connects suppliers with qualified buyers, combining commercial exchange, industry insights, networking, and senior-level dialogue.
Key Exhibitors and Participants
Notable exhibiting brands include Columbia Pictures Aquaverse, DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Kemayoran, Halong International Cruise, and Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta. Indian participants include IHCL and MakeMyTrip.
Other participants are Northern Lights Villages, oneworld alliance, Philippine Airlines, Sarawak Tourism Board,
Seibu Prince Hotels & Resorts, Tokyu Hotels Japan, and Visit Maldives Corporation.
Conference Tracks and Sessions
ITB India Conference 2026 runs alongside the exhibition featuring four tracks: Knowledge, MICE & Corporate, Travel Technology, and Experiential Travel. Sessions include the MICE Leaders’ Panel examining the future of MICE in India and South Asia, the Tech Leaders’ Panel exploring digital transformation in travel, the Hospitality Panel focused on innovation balanced with tradition, and the Experiential Travel Panel discussing values and purpose in modern travel.
New Leadership Roundtable and Networking
A new invitation-only ITB India Leadership Roundtable has been introduced in partnership with Simon-Kucher. The roundtable gathers senior leaders to address India’s
outbound market growth, destination competitiveness, connectivity, investment, technology, and public-private collaboration.
Networking activities include the ITB India Happy Hour on the opening day and the Cruise Capsule on the second day, which highlights opportunities in India’s expanding cruise market.
