Official Statements and Industry Context
Vicente Salas Hesselbach, VP and Managing Director Americas at Messe Berlin, stated, “ITB Americas was created to bring the Americas travel industry together in
a way that has never existed before.” He noted the strong commitment from destinations, brands, and partners as proof of the demand for a focused business platform prioritizing quality connections and strategic partnerships.
The event fills a previously unmet need by uniting North, Central, South America, and Caribbean regions into a single trade platform while attracting global markets. ITB Americas emphasizes business quality, senior-level engagement, and measurable commercial outcomes over traditional volume-based attendance.
