Israeli tourist arrivals in Greece surged to a record 743,841 in 2025, marking a 19.82 percent rise from 620,805 arrivals in 2024, according to the Office for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Greek Embassy in Tel Aviv. The figure sharply increased compared to 479,163 Israeli visitors in 2023, registering a two-year growth of over 264,000 arrivals. Israeli tourists represented 1.71 percent of Greece’s total tourist arrivals in 2025, up from 1.59 percent in 2024.

Investment has largely focused on the real estate market, hotel development, tourism infrastructure, and short-term rental properties, sustaining significant economic activity despite the annual decrease.
Despite ongoing geopolitical instability and war affecting the region, Israeli arrivals in Greece increased to record highs, reflecting resilient tourism demand. The embassy’s report projects that tourist numbers from Israel will remain strong for the summer 2026 season,
with expectations to meet or surpass the 2025 peak.
