Hilton, together with Valor Hospitality Partners and Umfolozi Hotel and Spa, has revealed plans to establish a new hotel property in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. This collaboration aims to broaden Hilton’s presence in the region and builds on an ongoing partnership between the three entities.
The planned Umfolozi River Hotel will feature 102 rooms and will be incorporated into Hilton’s Tapestry Collection. The announcement, made on 21 May 2026, marks the signing of this property under the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, highlighting a continued expansion strategy within the KwaZulu Natal area.
