
HCW announced plans to break ground in fall 2026 on a new 140-room hotel adjacent to Horseshoe Indianapolis in Shelbyville, Indiana. The five-story hotel will encompass 109,324 square feet and is expected to open in spring 2028, expanding lodging options at this major entertainment and racing destination.
Hotel Brand and Design
The hotel will be part of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection, which features independent hotels with distinctive character and locally inspired design. It will combine boutique hotel personality with Hilton’s global resources to enhance the guest experience at Horseshoe Indianapolis.
Facilities and Accommodations
The 140 guest rooms will consist of suites, king rooms, and double queen rooms spread
over five floors. Amenities include a resort-style infinity pool overlooking a body of water with poolside seating, an integrated restaurant and bar with outdoor poolside dining, a fitness center, and two meeting rooms totaling 1,648 square feet for flexible business and social gatherings.
Horseshoe Indianapolis Context
Horseshoe Indianapolis, operated by Caesars Entertainment, features approximately 106,000 square feet of casino space with 1,480 gaming machines, 80 table games, and a sportsbook. Additionally, it offers 22,000 square feet of meeting space and a live racetrack, serving as a premier entertainment destination in Indiana.
Strategic Significance

to create a hotel that complements everything Horseshoe Indianapolis has to offer while creating a destination experience of its own.” The hotel is intended to serve guests visiting for gaming, live racing, entertainment, meetings, special events, and leisure, expanding Shelbyville’s hospitality offerings with upscale accommodations and amenities.
