Hilton officially opened Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi in early October 2026, marking the introduction of its Curio Collection brand in Hawaii. This resort on Kauaʻi island offers 210 guest rooms and 23 suites, situated within the Hōkūala resort community overlooking Nāwiliwili Bay and Kalapakī Beach.
Rooms at Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi feature floor-to-ceiling windows and private lānais, allowing guests to enjoy unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean, Hāʻupu Mountain, and the Ocean Course at Hōkūala.
Cultural Programs and Amenities
The resort launched a cultural immersion initiative named E Ala Ka Pilina, which partners with local organizations such as The Kauaʻi Museum to offer storytelling programs and
culturally rooted experiences for guests. This reflects Curio Collection’s focus on delivering stays that embody the spirit of their destinations.
Dining facilities include a signature restaurant that serves Portuguese-Hawaiian cuisine and a casual poolside eatery. On-site amenities encompass a swimming pool, a fitness center, and access to the larger resort community’s full-service spa, wellness programming, tennis courts, and pickleball courts.
Brooke Thomas, brand leader of Curio Collection by Hilton, stated that Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi combines contemporary island design with curated local programming that honors the people and traditions of the area. She emphasized the resort’s role in fulfilling the brand
promise of immersive and unique guest experiences.
