The 4th GTBA-OneKlik Travel Sale Expo 2026 took place from October 2 to 4 at the Megatrade Halls in SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City, Philippines. Organized by the Global Tourism Business Association (GTBA) and OneKlik Events Management Services, the event featured 200 booths presenting travel destinations and deals to the public.
The expo attracted 56,000 visitors over the three-day period, setting a new record for the highest sales since 2023. The opening ceremony was attended by GTBA President Michelle Taylan, Ambassador Dato’ Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino, and Chief Operating Officer Bob Zozobrado, who represented key stakeholders involved in the event.
Activities
at the expo included an F4 contest, cosplay competitions, interpretive dance performances, and a travel vlogger challenge, enhancing the event experience beyond commerce. Partnering with Metrobank, the event enabled digital and cashless booking procedures, streamlining the process for travelers through modern financial services.
During the opening remarks, GTBA President Michelle Taylan reflected on the expo’s four years of development, stating, “Today we celebrate four wonderful years of growing together, what an exciting journey it has been.” She emphasized that the community “has grown together, stronger, better,” focusing on making travel “easier, smarter, and more accessible than ever.”
The expo supports
local tourism businesses by empowering local operators to integrate with the global tourism ecosystem. It offers a platform that combines technology with personal connection, allowing small and medium enterprises to expand their reach within the industry.
Featured travel destinations promoted at the event included local Philippine destinations such as Siargao and Palawan, as well as international spots like Malaysia, Guam, and Indonesia. The blend of extensive travel offers and entertainment activities created an engaging atmosphere for both travelers and industry participants.
