Granite Travel Trade Expos began registration in early September 2026 for its Fall 2026 series, which includes seven events scheduled across Western Canada and Ontario. The expos will take place in Winnipeg, Red Deer, Kelowna, Ottawa, Kingston, Richmond Hill, and Hamilton, targeting travel advisors in these secondary markets.
Exhibitor Participation and Event Structure
Each expo will host as many as 36 travel suppliers representing a broad range of sectors including destinations, hotels and resorts, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, and specialty travel companies. The events combine trade shows with supplier presentations that focus on enhancing product knowledge and offering sales opportunities to attending travel advisors.
Travel Advisor Benefits at the Expos
Travel advisors attending the Granite Travel Trade Expos will receive complimentary parking and dinner along with chances to win prizes and giveaways. Additionally, the first 50 advisors to arrive at each event will be awarded a $20 prepaid Mastercard as an attendance incentive.
Major Suppliers and Market Variability
Participating suppliers for the Fall 2026 series include Celebrity Cruises, Collette, Explore Worldwide, Globus, Hyatt Inclusive Collection, Jamaica Tourist Board, MSC Cruises, Sandals & Beaches Resorts, Sunwing Vacations, Tourism Australia, Trafalgar Tours, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises, Visit Myrtle Beach, Visit Orlando, and WestJet Vacations. Supplier representation will vary across the different regional events, with not all companies
present at every expo.
Granite’s Strategic Focus on Secondary Markets
Brad Dean, President of Granite Travel Trade Expos, stated: “Granite brings global travel suppliers to lucrative secondary markets where business is done. These communities are home to highly engaged travel advisors who represent significant sales opportunities for our supplier partners. Our Expos give advisors direct, face-to-face access to the people, products and information that can help them generate more business.” The expos are strategically designed to connect travel advisors with suppliers outside major metropolitan centers, emphasizing personal interaction and direct business development.
