Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort, owned by Grupo Diestra, will open as a fully all-inclusive property in December 2026. The resort will mark the Grand Hyatt brand’s first presence in Cancun. It is located within Puerto Cancun, a private gated community near the marina, golf course, shopping, dining, and Cancun’s Hotel Zone, approximately 25 minutes from Cancun International Airport.

The resort includes 500 guestrooms, with 47 suites. Each room features a private terrace offering views of the ocean or marina. Select suites will have private pools. Grand Club rooms provide access to an exclusive lounge with continental breakfast and afternoon

cocktails. Artistic touches include an entrance installation by Teresa Solar and tilework by Mexican designer María Pizarro, integrating local culture into the design.

Fourteen food and beverage outlets are planned, offering a variety of dining options. Featured venues include Quattro, a Northern Italian restaurant; Fiera San, specializing in sushi and omakase; Kaab, offering international buffet breakfasts and lunches; and Bistrot Cigalette, a French restaurant by chef Thierry Blouet. Additional outlets will provide poolside bars, street food, and casual snacks, ensuring a broad culinary range for guests.

Wellness and recreation amenities comprise the Ritua Sanctuary Spa, which incorporates a traditional temazcal

and outdoor relaxation spaces, along with a fully equipped fitness center. The resort has nine multi-level outdoor pools, including an adults-only pool and infinity pool. The private Beach Club includes its own pool, restaurant, and water activities such as snorkeling, diving, kayaking, windsurfing, and paddleboarding. Yacht and sailing excursions are available from the nearby marina. Families can access a dedicated Grand Kids Club.

For meetings and events, the resort offers around 30,000 square feet of flexible indoor event space on one level. Facilities include a Great Ballroom divisible into eight sections, two breakout rooms, and a boardroom, catering to both

large conferences and smaller gatherings.

Omar Vázquez, General Manager of Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort, stated, “Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort will offer guests the opportunity to experience the destination through a fully all-inclusive experience defined by best-in-class accommodations and exceptional hospitality.” Hyatt’s approach at this resort emphasizes elevated service, culinary excellence, wellness offerings, and sophisticated meeting spaces within the all-inclusive framework.
