Frontier Airlines Adds Four New Routes Launching in Late 2026

Frontier Airlines announced on July 14, 2026, plans to begin operating four new nonstop flight routes later in the year as part of its network expansion. The new services will enhance the airline’s connectivity between major U.S. and Caribbean airports while offering affordable travel options.

New routes from major U.S. and Caribbean airports

The additional routes will include flights from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston, and Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) in San Juan. Frontier’s expanded network will link these hubs with destinations including Houston, Denver, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and San Juan.

Promotional fares and ticketing details

To mark

the launch of the new flights, Frontier is offering promotional fares starting at $69. Tickets must be purchased by 11:59 pm Eastern time on July 20, 2026, for travel on select nonstop flights through January 4, 2027. Travelers must book at least 21 days in advance to qualify for the sale fares.

Blackout dates during which promotional fares are not valid include November 20-25 and 27-30, December 23-24, 26-27, and 30-31 in 2026, as well as January 2-3, 2027. These travel restrictions and rules conform to Frontier Airlines’ Contract of Carriage.

Upgrades in seating and loyalty benefits

Frontier Airlines is introducing new onboard products starting in

2026 to enhance passenger comfort. The UpFront Plus seating option offers extra legroom and guaranteed empty middle seats in the first two rows, while the airline will debut First Class seating that combines comfort and spaciousness at affordable prices.

The airline also promotes its Frontier Miles frequent flyer program, which rewards members with a standard 10X miles per dollar spent, increasing up to 20X for elite tier travelers. Elite status requires 10,000 points and provides benefits such as priority boarding, seat selection, and free baggage. Family pooling of miles is available for elite members.
