Fly2Galicia, a new budget airline, will begin direct flights to Santiago de Compostela, Spain, from 1 December 2026. The airline will connect Santiago–Rosalía de Castro Airport with eight European destinations, including domestic routes to Alicante, Grenada, and Zaragoza, and international services to Brussels, Prague, Munich, Venice, and Milan. Ticket prices start at €41 for flights from Milan, €51 from Brussels, Prague, or Venice, and €71 from Munich. Flight bookings opened on 20 August 2026.
Wizz Air Expands Santiago Routes and Establishes Base
Wizz Air announced new flights to Santiago de Compostela from Rome and Warsaw beginning in December 2026. The carrier plans to establish a permanent base at
Santiago Airport by February 2027. Upon opening the base, Wizz Air will launch domestic routes connecting Santiago with Malaga, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, and Zaragoza.
