Fly2Galicia will launch direct nonstop services to Santiago–Rosalía de Castro Airport from eight European destinations on December 1, 2026. The new routes will connect Santiago de Compostela with Alicante, Granada, Zaragoza, Brussels, Prague, Munich, Venice, and Milan.
Tickets for Fly2Galicia flights are priced starting at €41 for travel from Milan to Santiago. Fares from Brussels, Prague, and Venice begin at €51, while flights from Munich start at €71. Although marketed by Fly2Galicia, the initial operations will be conducted by a separate, unnamed European carrier.
Wizz Air Expands Santiago de Compostela Access
Wizz Air will commence flights to Santiago de Compostela from Rome and Warsaw in December 2026.
The airline plans to establish a permanent base at Santiago–Rosalía de Castro Airport in February 2027. Upon opening its base, Wizz Air will operate domestic routes to Malaga, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, and Zaragoza.
Santiago de Compostela Travel Context
Santiago de Compostela hosts a UNESCO-listed Old Town featuring Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque, and Neoclassicist architecture. Located in Galicia, the city is renowned for its Albariño white wine and seafood markets such as Mercado de Abastos.
