The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) will begin deploying the V-Pass facial recognition system across all Nigerian domestic airports starting in July 2026.
The nationwide rollout aims to accelerate passenger processing by improving identification efficiency. Travelers using domestic airports in Nigeria will experience faster identification through the new facial recognition technology from the launch date.
