The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has initiated the deployment of the V-Pass facial recognition biometric system at Nigerian domestic airports as of July 2026.
The V-Pass system is designed to enhance passenger identification and security during domestic flights. Passengers at these airports can expect faster and more secure identity verification processes as the technology is gradually implemented.
