Operations for several prominent airlines, including Air France, ITA Airways, and Wizz Air Malta, were notably impacted, with grounding or major delays reported at key airports such as Milan, Rome, Barcelona, and Lisbon. Travelers passing through these hubs faced cancellations and lengthy delays, resulting in widespread travel disruptions across the region.
