easyJet will launch a new weekly service from Newcastle Airport to Larnaca, Cyprus, operating on Wednesdays starting March 31, 2027. This new route follows the launch of easyJet’s base at Newcastle Airport in March 2026, since when the airline has more than quadrupled its destination lineup from the airport.
In addition to the Larnaca route, easyJet will start six additional winter routes from Newcastle to Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, Fuerteventura, Hurghada, Krakow, Marrakech, Reykjavík, and Rovaniemi, further expanding its network from the northeast of England.

Impact for Passengers
Travelers in North East England will be able to fly direct to Larnaca once a week on Wednesdays starting spring 2027. easyJet is also offering new travel packages from Newcastle Airport, increasing travel choices for both summer 2027 and winter seasons across multiple destinations.
