Disney Cruise Line’s new ship, Disney Believe, will embark on its maiden voyage on December 18, 2027, departing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The ship will offer four-night and five-night cruises to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean, calling on Disney’s private islands, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
Entertainment and New Features Onboard
Disney Believe will present the first-ever ‘Encanto’ musical at sea, retelling Mirabel’s journey with songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, including “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and “Surface Pressure.” Additional stage productions include “Tangled: The Musical” and “Disney Seas the Adventure.” The ship’s Grand Hall is themed after
“Moana,” featuring statues of Moana alongside her companions Pua and Heihei. A live show venue called Gazelle, inspired by “Zootopia,” will provide adults-only entertainment in the evenings. The Wishing Well, drawing from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” serves as a central gathering place.
Themed Dining and Hospitality Options
The ship introduces Oaken’s Table, a family dining restaurant inspired by “Frozen” with live entertainment. Other eateries include Sea Notes, a piano lounge inspired by “The Little Mermaid,” and two cafes themed after Disney franchises: Big Hero Sips from “Big Hero 6” and Café Kakamora from “Moana.” Skygazers, a pub designed as a magical observatory, is
also onboard. Guests with a sweet tooth can visit Inside Out: Joyful Sweets, a confectionery venue. Returning favorites include the Haunted Mansion Parlor bar, Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement, and The Rose lounge.
