Delta Air Lines announced on September 21, 2026, the addition of new nonstop routes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Monterey, California, and Philadelphia. Alongside these, the airline will increase service to seven other US destinations. By summer 2027, Delta and its partners will offer more than 200 daily departures from LAX during the peak travel season.

Amy Martin, Vice President of Network Planning at Delta Air Lines, stated that the new service to Monterey will operate from both Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. She emphasized that these expansions expand customer options and strengthen Delta’s long-term commitment to
Los Angeles and the western United States.
Delta’s investments at LAX aim to create a more seamless and premium journey for passengers. Next summer, Delta plans to operate the largest and most premium flight experience in its history at the LAX hub. Together with its partners, Delta will offer more than 200 daily departures during the summer peak, enhancing travel opportunities and connectivity for customers through the expanded route network.
