Delta Air Lines announced on September 21, 2026, that it will introduce new nonstop flights from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Monterey, California, and Philadelphia. The airline will also increase service to seven U.S. destinations overall as part of this expansion.

Amy Martin, Delta’s vice president of network planning, stated, “With new service to Monterey from both Los Angeles and Salt Lake City, alongside our continued growth at LAX, we’re creating more opportunities for customers to connect to the places they want to go while building on our long-term commitment to Los Angeles and the West.” This route expansion

Largest and Most Premium LAX Operation Coming Next Summer
Delta plans to operate its largest and most premium service experience at LAX during next summer’s peak travel period. Along with its partners, Delta will offer more than 200 daily departures at LAX, increasing options for travelers through the airport.
