Delta Air Lines will inaugurate its first nonstop flights between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Manila International Airport (MNL) starting March 28, 2027. The new service will initially operate three times per week and increase to daily flights beginning June 7, 2027.

Aircraft and Premium Services

Flights on this route will utilize Delta’s flagship Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The aircraft includes four cabin classes: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Delta Main Cabin. Passengers traveling in premium cabins will have access to dedicated check-in lanes and Delta One Lounges at LAX, including a newly opened lounge in Terminal 2. Delta aims to

expand its lounge footprint at LAX to four locations with over 60,000 square feet of space by 2028.

Strategic Partnerships and Network Expansion

This nonstop route supplements Delta’s Asia-Pacific network from its Southern California hub and reinforces its joint venture with Korean Air. Passengers will also have routing options connecting through Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN) via Korean Air, leveraging the partnership between the two carriers. The route complements other recent Delta expansions from LAX to Asia-Pacific destinations such as Hong Kong, Melbourne, and Shanghai.

Traveler Benefits and Official Statements

The nonstop service eliminates the need for connecting flights between Los Angeles and Manila, enabling faster and more convenient travel.

Jeff Arinder, Delta’s Vice President of Network Planning, stated, “The addition of Manila builds on the world-class travel experience our customers have come to expect from Delta while strengthening our position as LAX’s leading global carrier and premier West Coast hub.” Doug Webster, Chief Operations and Maintenance Officer for Los Angeles World Airports, added, “As a primary gateway to the Pacific, LAX is proud to welcome Delta’s new nonstop service to Manila.”

Flight Details and Sales Information Pending

Specific flight departure and arrival times have not been released. Pricing information across cabin classes and the exact date when ticket sales will open are also unavailable. Travelers

interested in this new service are advised to monitor Delta’s official platforms for updates.
