Delta Air Lines announced it will add nonstop flights from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Monterey, California, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The carrier is also increasing service to seven additional U.S. destinations from LAX, expanding its domestic network.
Delta Expands Connectivity at Los Angeles International Airport
Amy Martin, Delta’s vice president of network planning, said the new service to Monterey from both Los Angeles and Salt Lake City is part of the airline’s ongoing growth at LAX. She highlighted Delta’s commitment to creating travel opportunities and strengthening its presence in Los Angeles and the western United States.
“With new service to Monterey from both Los Angeles and Salt
Lake City, alongside our continued growth at LAX, we’re creating more opportunities for customers to connect to the places they want to go while building on our long-term commitment to Los Angeles and the West,” Martin said.
Largest Premium Offerings and Flight Frequencies Set for Next Summer
Delta plans to operate the largest and most premium experience in its history at LAX during the next summer peak season. Along with its airline partners, Delta will offer more than 200 daily departures from LAX, increasing options and frequency for travelers.
