Choice Hotels International has launched six new hotels across its Cambria Hotels and Ascend Collection brands, pushing its upscale portfolio past 300 properties across the United States. The new openings include two Cambria Hotels and four Ascend Collection locations situated in Colorado, Florida, Vermont, and Wisconsin.
Details of New Cambria and Ascend Collection Properties
The two new Cambria Hotels comprise Cambria Hotel Colorado Springs – Air Force Academy in Colorado and Cambria Hotel Jacksonville in Florida. The Colorado Springs location features 97 guestrooms and suites, onsite dining, a rooftop bar, a 24-hour Grab & Go marketplace, and 286 square feet of meeting space, located five miles from the
U.S. Air Force Academy. Cambria Hotel Jacksonville offers 107 guestrooms with premium bedding and spa-inspired bathrooms, a locally inspired restaurant and bar, an outdoor pool, rooftop event space, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a fitness center.
Ascend Collection added four properties: Caretta Landing Sarasota and Coral Pointe Sarasota in Florida, Fairway Inn and Suites in Mishicot, Wisconsin, and Sun Lodge in Peru, Vermont. Caretta Landing Sarasota features 86 guestrooms focused on wellness amenities, an outdoor heated pool, and flexible meeting spaces near Siesta Key Beach and The Ringling Museum. Coral Pointe Sarasota offers 107 guestrooms and apartment-style suites, a boutique retail market,
fitness center, and shares a resort-style outdoor pool and complimentary hot breakfast with Caretta Landing. Together, these Florida locations provide nearly 1,100 square feet of combined meeting space.
Fairway Inn and Suites in Wisconsin provides 102 renovated guestrooms, approximately 19,000 square feet of meeting and event space, an indoor heated pool, hot tub, fitness center, and complimentary hot breakfast. It sits near Point Beach State Forest, Green Bay, and Two Rivers. Sun Lodge in Vermont has 50 guestrooms, ski-in/ski-out winter access, a game room, outdoor fire pits, picnic areas, and nearly 800 square feet of event space at the base
of Bromley Mountain, close to hiking and ski destinations.
