On July 1, 2026, Chicago O’Hare International Airport experienced widespread travel disruptions, with more than 220 flights delayed and five flights cancelled. These interruptions affected numerous travelers departing from and arriving at the airport throughout the day.
Among the airlines impacted were United Airlines, SkyWest Airlines, American Airlines, and Jazz Aviation. The disruptions extended across a range of routes connecting the United States with destinations in Canada, Brazil, Germany, and other locations.
