Celebrity Cruises revealed its 2028 and 2029 global deployment on August 10, 2026, detailing itineraries across all seven continents. The announcement includes four Edge Series ships, such as the updated Celebrity Beyond, sailing in Europe for the first time, and extensive itineraries covering Europe, Alaska, Asia, Australia, New England, South America, and Antarctica.
Expanded Europe Season with Four Edge Series Ships
In 2028 and 2029, Celebrity Cruises will deploy four Edge Series ships in Europe for the first time, including the recently renewed Celebrity Beyond. The ship returns to Europe for the first time since 2023 featuring new venues like the Mediterranean restaurant Bora, the Celebrity Pool Club
with Orange Peel Bar & Grille and Tacos del Sol. Europe sailings range from seven to fourteen nights, originating from Southampton with routes to Norway, Iceland, and Scandinavia.
Celebrity Apex will operate 12-night voyages covering Oslo, Skagen, Stockholm, Tallinn, Helsinki, and Copenhagen, alongside new 12-night British Isles itineraries visiting Scotland, Ireland, and England. These include Celebrity Cruises’ inaugural call at Galway, Ireland. Celebrity Constellation will offer 10- to 11-night cruises visiting Italy and Croatia, marking its first visit to Bari, Italy since 2014.
Comprehensive Europe Cruise Routes with Diverse Itineraries
Celebrity Beyond’s 14-night Europe cruises include Icelandic ports Reykjavik, Isafjordur, Akureyri, and Seydisfjordur, followed by Norwegian fjords
at Geiranger, Alesund, Flam, Nordfjordeid, and Bergen. Complementing this, Celebrity Summit will provide seven-night round-trip sailings from Reykjavik focused on Iceland. Celebrity Infinity will operate year-round European cruises, including Egypt with overnight stops in Alexandria, and off-season itineraries from Athens and Barcelona visiting destinations such as Santorini, Mykonos, and the Canary Islands.
Cruises in the Mediterranean will be offered by Celebrity Xcel, Celebrity Ascent, and Celebrity Eclipse, featuring seven- to eleven-night sailings to Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Portugal, Greece, and Turkey. Sailings from Athens provide opportunities for shoulder-season visits to Santorini, Kavala, Rhodes, and Ephesus, while off-season voyages from Barcelona
head to the Canary Islands and parts of North Africa.
Enhanced Alaska and North American Voyages
Three Celebrity ships, Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Equinox, and Celebrity Millennium, will sail Alaska in 2028. Celebrity Edge undertakes its fifth Alaska season, Celebrity Equinox debuts with seven-night open-jaw sailings between Vancouver and Seward, while Celebrity Millennium offers round-trip cruises from Vancouver. Celebrity Equinox will also provide land-based Cruisetours led by local guides stopping at Anchorage, Talkeetna, and Denali National Park.
Additionally, Celebrity Equinox will operate new round-trip Hawaii sailings departing from Los Angeles. In May 2028, Celebrity Summit will conduct seven-night Bermuda voyages from Cape Liberty, New Jersey, featuring two
overnight stays. Later in the year, Celebrity Summit will offer 12-night Canada and New England sailings from Boston in September and October, including an overnight in Quebec City.
Asia, Australia, South Pacific, South America, and Antarctica Deployments
Australia and New Zealand itineraries comprise 23 sailings from Sydney and Auckland on Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Solstice, ranging from four to fourteen nights. South Pacific routes on Celebrity Solstice include ports such as Tauranga (New Zealand), Lifou (Loyalty Islands), and Mystery Island (Vanuatu).
Celebrity Solstice will sail a full Japan season from April through October 2028, with visits to Tokyo, Kyoto, Aomori, and participation in cultural festivals including Golden Week and
Gion Matsuri. Celebrity Millennium’s spring and fall Japan cruises will highlight Cherry Blossom and Hibiscus seasons plus fall foliage (koyo). Both ships will call at Okinawa 17 times.
Winter Asian itineraries on Celebrity Millennium and Celebrity Solstice include Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and China, featuring overnight port calls in Bangkok, Phuket, Benoa, Hanoi, Hong Kong, and Penang. Notably, Celebrity Millennium will be positioned in Hong Kong for New Year’s Eve 2028, providing guests with fireworks viewing opportunities.
South America and Antarctica itineraries on Celebrity Equinox will range from 12 to 16 nights covering five countries. Highlights include the Chilean Fjords,
Iguazu Falls, the Antarctic Peninsula, Patagonia’s wildlife, and Tierra del Fuego National Park. Overnights in Valparaiso and Buenos Aires allow exploration of cultural and culinary attractions. A 16-night New Year’s holiday cruise in Antarctica is also offered.
