Royal Caribbean will enforce a new cancellation policy starting October 11, 2026, eliminating the 25% penalty tier on 5-14 night cruises. Longer cruises will face penalty fees earlier, requiring advance commitment.

Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Believe will begin its maiden voyage from Fort Lauderdale on December 18, 2027, featuring the first-ever Encanto musical at sea. The ship also includes themed entertainment inspired by Moana, Frozen, and other Disney classics.

Royal Caribbean will change its cancellation policy starting October 11, 2026, removing the 25% penalty for five- to nine-night cruises. Longer cruises will face 50% cancellation fees beginning 119 days before departure.

Construction began on October 5, 2026, for a new cruise terminal at Naha Port, Okinawa, by Naha Port Authority, Cruise Port Naha G.K., MSC Cruises, and Royal Caribbean Group. The facility aims to enhance passenger capacity and support cruise tourism growth in the region.

Disney Believe, the fourth ship in Disney Cruise Line’s Wish class, will launch with the first-ever onboard production of the Encanto musical. Its maiden voyage departs Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on December 18, 2027.
