Carnival Cruise Line canceled nine sailings on the Carnival Jubilee ship scheduled from August to December 2027. All affected voyages were set to depart from Galveston.

These cancellations impact itineraries covering the Caribbean and Bahamas regions. Carnival confirmed that guests and their travel advisors have been informed and offered a variety of alternative sailing options and accommodations.

Cruise Cancellation Causes and Previous Incidents

Cruise cancellations, while relatively uncommon, can result from factors such as ship charters or scheduled dry dock refurbishments and maintenance. Carnival previously canceled nearly a dozen cruises in late 2026 aboard the Carnival Firenze due to similar itinerary changes.

In an official email,

Carnival Cruise Line cited “itinerary changes” as the reason for the Jubilee cancellations but did not provide further details. “Affected guests and their travel advisors have been notified and provided with a range of alternative sailing options and accommodations,” the company added.

The exact reasons behind the itinerary modifications for the Jubilee cancellations and details on the alternative itineraries have not been disclosed.
