Expanded Geographical Representation at WTM Africa 2027
The 2027 event will feature its most geographically diverse show floor to date, increasing representation across African subregions and the Middle East. Confirmed markets expanding or newly participating include Egypt and Algeria (North Africa); Nigeria and Benin (West Africa); Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Madagascar, Mauritius, and Réunion (East Africa and
Indian Ocean); Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Angola (Southern Africa); as well as the United Arab Emirates (Middle East). This expanded roster will provide buyers increased access to new destinations and suppliers under one roof over the three-day event.

Megan De Jager, Portfolio Director for Travel, Tourism and Sports at RX Africa, described the growing regional representation as an important opportunity for buyers to broaden their networks and forge new business relationships. “If you’re serious about doing business across the African travel and tourism landscape, this is where you need to be,” she said. Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis welcomed
