Avelo Airlines will start four additional nonstop routes from McKinney National Airport in North Texas beginning December 2026, expanding service beyond an initial November launch. The Houston-based ultra-low-cost carrier will base a third Boeing 737-800 aircraft at the airport for these new schedules.
McKinney National Airport recently received its commercial operating certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration. Construction of a new passenger terminal is progressing on schedule and is near completion, according to airport officials.
Route Details and Scheduling
Flights to Denver International Airport and Atlanta-Hartsfield Jackson International Airport will commence on December 16, operating four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Service to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and Nashville International Airport will start December 17, running twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. Fare prices begin at $99 and include one free checked bag.
Initial commercial flights from McKinney National to Las Vegas and four Florida destinations—Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando, and Tampa—will begin November 11, 2026.
