Lufthansa will launch the first nonstop flight between Columbus and Europe, connecting to Frankfurt starting May 2027. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner will operate thrice weekly with connections to over 130 global destinations via Frankfurt.

Aeromexico plans to announce new nonstop flights from US cities to Mexico City on October 21, 2026. The airline will disclose which US cities will be served.

Alaska Air Group will begin nonstop flights between Seattle and Osaka, Japan, and Seattle and Papeete, Tahiti. Hawaiian Airlines will operate both new routes with Airbus A330 aircraft.
