Banco BHD and the Dominican Association of Sports Tourism (Adoturd) have launched the Dominican Republic's first research study on sports tourism, led by CETDEL. The study will provide detailed data on investment, consumer profiles, and policy support to grow this fastest-growing tourism sector, which accounts for 10% of global tourist spending.

The World Travel & Tourism Council valued India's travel and tourism sector at $263.6 billion for 2025. Asian Hospitality published this data on August 4, 2026.
