A nor’easter last weekend caused over 400 flight cancellations and more than 3,000 delays across the US East Coast. The storm triggered states of emergency and fatalities in New York and widespread flooding along coastal areas.

Indian Railways cancelled 51 Bihar-bound trains and diverted 47 others on September 26, 2026. The disruptions were caused by rail bridge construction work at Mokama.
