DiamondRock Hospitality Company acquired The Bellmoor Inn & Spa, a 79-room luxury resort in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, for $31.0 million in October 2026. The acquisition strengthens DiamondRock's portfolio in a supply-constrained Southern Delaware leisure market attracting affluent visitors.

Braemar Hotels & Resorts Inc. agreed to sell the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale for $372 million, supporting its separation from Ashford Inc. After asset sales and refinancing, Braemar plans a transition to a self-managed REIT by mid-November 2026.

JW Marriott opened its first all-inclusive resort, Costa Elena Resort & Spa, in Guanacaste, Costa Rica in October 2026. The resort has 415 rooms, the largest pool in Costa Rica, 15 dining venues, and extensive wellness and family amenities.
