Lufthansa Airlines will launch a nonstop flight between Columbus and Frankfurt in May 2027, marking Ohio’s first nonstop service to Germany. The route will operate three times weekly using a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Aeromexico will announce new nonstop flights from US cities to Mexico City in late October 2026. Selected US cities will gain direct flights, improving travel times and connectivity.

Alaska Air Group launched nonstop flights from Seattle to Osaka and Papeete in October 2026. The routes use Airbus A330 aircraft to connect Seattle directly with these destinations.
