Construction begins on new Naha Port cruise terminal in Okinawa
Construction has begun on a new cruise terminal at Naha Port in Okinawa, a joint project by Naha Port Authority, Cruise Port Naha G.K., MSC Cruises, and Royal Caribbean Group. The terminal is expected to be completed by March 2028 to support advanced cruise ships and enhance Asia's cruise tourism infrastructure.
Royal Caribbean Updates Cancellation Rules Effective October 11, 2026
Royal Caribbean will remove the 25% cancellation penalty tier for cruises lasting five to 14 nights starting October 11, 2026. New penalties increase cancellation fees to 50% from 89 to 61 days for five to nine night cruises and apply earlier penalties for cruises lasting 10 nights or more.
Disney Believe Cruise Ship to Sail First Voyage in December 2027
Disney Cruise Line plans to launch its new ship Disney Believe with a maiden voyage from Fort Lauderdale on December 18, 2027. The ship will feature the world's first onboard production of the 'Encanto' musical.
